World Fishing Tour continues to promise anglers 101% or more payback on entry fees. We have continued to try and give back to anglers by giving them something to fish that doesn't take a huge rake(tournament fee) out of their buy ins to our events. Some organizations are taken up to 40% from their anglers and some don't even realize it not including memberships. If you fish and/or rebuy into 5 events with WFT in a season including membership you'd pay less than 8% total rake(operating cost to our tour) and goes down from their the more you fish/enter. Very r.o.i. friendly for a good angler to have a plus e.v. experience fishing with us.
This one here at Clinton sets the record for payback percentage though. A $5,000 guaranteed first place payout for those who stayed at Bucksaw Resort seemed like a very safe guarantee but with hunting season opening and all kinds of bass team trail series championships all over the ozark / neighboring states region. Plus mixed with crazy high winds and storms caused for a crazy low turn out. All we needed was 37 entries to cover the guarantee according to our paytable. We fell way short of that at 21 total entries including rebuys. 15 teams entered the $50 optional big bass sidepot Which was also guaranteed $1,500 by Travis with KGUARDGUTTERING.COM making the big bass payout 2x expected value as well on anglers money. Big Bass of the week also wins a Clutchswimbatco.com eco glidebait. Biggest bag of the week wins $200 on BaitWrx.com gift cards as well.
