Hamels hammer down on Wilson with a mixed bag of Smallmouth and Largemouth totaling #17.16

Scott Hamel and Dennis Hamel who was recently inducted into the Kansas Bass Nation Master Class(Hall of Fame) took the victory today on Wilson Lake just east of Russel Kansas.

Last year's Champs Jason and Hunter Baird was able to get through to Championship Sunday to try and defend thier title on just one entry this year. In 2022 they fired two times but it paid off huge for them winning almost 10k first place prize. Jacob Calkin and Wes Proctor weighed in #15.09 which edged out Sheldon Rogge and Travis Blenn #14.99 sack. Attached are the rest of the weights from today's 15 boat field. 3 more days to qualify for Championship Sunday which pays a guaranteed $10,000 for first and $600 for lowest spot come Sunday.
